Company Overview
AMG Bioenergy Group is a global player in the production of bioenergy resources which are clean, renewable and sustainable. AMG Bioenergy Resources Group intends to become of the leading private producer of biodiesel in People’s Republic of China within the next 3 years.
Our initial phase will entail a 400 hectares nucleus plantation in Guangdong Province, in China. It is intended that this 400 hectare Jatropha plantation to be nucleus plantation, providing Jatropha plantlets and trained personnel, to support future expansion of this nucleus plantation as well as development of larger commercial plantations around the region. This initial phase has potential for organic expansion, made possibility by the target sites’s scalability, excellent location and connectively. The plantation in Guangdong Province has the potential to be further expended to not less than 15,000 hectares.
The Group’s management expect to fund the above phases by tapping both the debt and equity capital markets for a mixture of long term project financing and shareholders funds over the next 3-5 years, thereby lowering the weighted average cost of capital and delivering the highest possible returns to shareholders over the next 3-8 years and beyond.

Poon Lee Heng (Thomas),

Thomas Poon has more than 15 years work experience in the environmental industry specializing in the business of air pollution control. With his experience as a chemical engineer and business development, Mr Poon will be a key personnel for development of plantations, extraction plants and drawing up contracts with biodiesel tolling operators including the performance of due diligence.

Biodiesel Project
Understanding the uncertainty of feedstock prices, AMG Bionenergy Resources Group is also developing a sustainable feedstock plantation in Vietnam. The plantation will feature biologically-advanced jatropha plants which are able to thrive in semi-arid land and provide a high oil yield. An MOU agreement has already been signed with the relevant authorities in Vietnam in the development of this feedstock plantation.
